Short version: ShiftBoss collects nothing. It has no servers and no account. Everything happens on your iPhone.
None. ShiftBoss does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There is no account to create and no analytics or tracking of any kind.
Your schedule, settings, break history, and blocked-app selection are stored only on your device (and in your own private iCloud, if you use it). App blocking runs through Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) framework on your iPhone. I never see this information.
When you justify a break, your reason is analyzed entirely on your device — by Apple's on-device Foundation Models on supported iPhones, or by a local rule-based check on others. What you type is never sent anywhere and never leaves your iPhone.
The free trial and the one-time unlock are handled by Apple through the App Store. Apple processes any payment; I do not receive or store your payment details.
ShiftBoss contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. Nothing about you is shared with anyone.
ShiftBoss is a productivity tool intended for a general audience and is not directed at children.
